Packaging Equipment Overview

Volm Companies, Inc. manufactures a diverse line of automated food packaging equipment. Fresh produce and vegetables can be accurately weighed, which increases your productivity and reduces operational costs. Bags of any type (mesh, poly, paper, burlap) can be formed, filled and sealed using vffs machinery. Various bag closers and automatic balers are also available.

All automated food packaging equipment is manufactured directly at Volm facilities. Experienced technicians will set up and test your equipment on-site. Weighing Equipment
Our automated weighers use the latest technology to provide high-production speeds and highly accurate results. Various models are available. Highlights include efficient feed channels, wide bucket scales and high-speed computer with an easy-to-use Windows software program.

Baggers
Our wicket baggers are easy to operate with a variety of poly and mesh bags. Baggers can be used in conjunction with Volm weighing equipment or any other weigher on the market. Other models within this category include Carousel Baggers, C-Pack Clippers (which can be used with either extruded or knitted mesh products), poly or mesh rollstock baggers and vertical form, fill and seal machines.

Bag Closing Equipment
A variety of bag closing equipment is available. We work with reliable manufacturers, such as Kwik Lok, to assemble the most productive bag closers on the market.

Automatic Balers
The Volmpack High-Speed Baler is the first automatic baler to include a manufacturer's performance guarantee. We believe in the production rates it can handle, so we back it up with a strong statement of support. Also included in this category is our Semi-Automatic Palletizer, which allows your palletizer operator to stack up to 720-50 lbs or 100 lb. bags per hour without lifting a single bag.

Optional Bagging Systems
Each weigher has optional bagging systems. Examples include carousel baggers, wicket baggers, poly and mesh rollstock baggers and net clipper baggers.
