S75® Single
Net Straw Blanket
Our S75 is comprised of 100% agricultural straw stitched
with degradable thread to a single photodegradable polypropylene
netting structure. It is designed to provide erosion
protection and assist with vegetation establishment for
up to 12 months on roadside slopes, reclaimed mine lands,
and other low maintenance areas.
After grading and seeding have taken place, the S75
blankets are securely fastened to the ground, offering
significantly greater erosion protection than loose or
hydraulically applied mulches.
Seed and soil are protected from the ravages of soil
particle detachment caused by wind and rain. The protective
mulch provided by the blankets helps create optimal conditions
for seed germination and growth.
