Volm Companies, the leading North American supplier of fresh produce packaging and equipment automation solutions, today announced two new offerings within its Volm Equipment Service Division; a formal strategy to provide preventative maintenance service plans and extended service contracts covering parts and labor on their Volmpack product line.
The newly developed Preventative Maintenance plan will provide customers with a clear and concise document which includes a complete diagnosis of all individual equipment. Vice President of Sales & Marketing Matt Alexanders says, “This document will help customers with safety records and allow them to know exactly the condition of their line going into peak season or off season. In addition to the preventative maintenance plans, we now offer extended service contracts to provide our customers an upfront cost of service for parts and labor beyond the standard manufacturer’s warranty. With these plans available at the time of purchase, equipment owners can eliminate the frustration of unplanned repair costs.”
This announcement will allow Volm Companies to offer a complete service package to purchasers of its comprehensive line of equipment. “The new offerings will ensure all of our customers are provided with the MVP level of service they have come to expect. The combined knowledge of our service team along with the support from our vendors will allow us to offer unmatched customer service in our industry” added Alexander.
As part of the new initiatives the Volm Service team has increased its field service support by over 20 percent including key additions to its field service technician staff and parts personnel.
