Volm offers two types of pallet handling conveyors for standard 40” x 48” pallets: chain-driven live rollers (CDLRs) and drag chain conveyors. They are typically used to deliver pallets to and from the stacking chamber. CDLR conveyors usually convey pallets long edge leading. These conveyors have rollers that are attached together with chains and are driven by a common gear motor. Drag chain conveyors are used when conveying a pallet short edge leading. Two-strand drag chain conveyors and three-strand drag chain conveyors are available to accommodate both empty and fully loaded pallets.
